Situated on the Newell Highway, our Park provides access to the Lachlan River for our guests and is a great spot to throw in a line. Group discounts are available for cabins and powered sites.
Our co site manager Brad is an avid fisher and can provide great advice on bait and equipment to use. For anyone going out to do a spot of fishing, please remember Murray Cod are off limits from 1 September to 30 November. If you do manage to get out before the cod season ends, then a reminder the bag limit of 2 per person and legal limit of 55cm to 75cm.
Yellowbelly (Golden Perch), which is a great eating fish, can be caught all year round. Please observe the bag limit (5 per day) and legal limit of 30cm. River levels in the Lachlan are pretty high at the moment after the recent rain yet still plenty of fish being caught using worms and yabbies. Can only get better as the weather warms up!!
